Yay injuries :D

So, with the toe still not right (bruising has gone down but putting too much pressure on it is not healthy, also unable to bend the toe at the knuckle :/ ) I have gained another injury....

While negative dipping with 20kg between my legs (i have heavy balls eh?) my wrist seems to have pulled a tendon.
I was able to actually manage a couple of full dips, even though the intention was purely to do negs (dips at 150kg total, go me!).

hurts to even use the hand as a support to stand up from a chair :<

Is it your love hand?

Ice it and get a compression bandage and see the doctor as you might have a slight fracture.

Do you use wrist straps ? These may help protect the wrist as you train .

Mine helped a great deal when I hurt my forearm .

I got mine from pullman ( got the link from Galt or Karlos I think . They seem to love shirtlifters equipment

I hope the 3rd thing isn't anything like my banging head, snotty face and general hit by a truck feeling. Due to poor sleep, I feel a litle over-trained methinks... Going to sue Jake for encouraging bad ass, near cripplling sessions!

Told you eat loads and get plenty of rest when not training! Takes a while to get used too.

I hear ya big man - still shoveling the grub in at the moment- not lost any appetite- having the day off, should pass over night and then onwards and upwards. I feel a hell of a lot better than when I dragged my sorry self out of bed. Knew it was coming yesterday when I was rather poor at WG Pullups but then PBd a load of other stuff but paid for it at work as I was really not down with lobbing pallets about.

It's hard to ease up on the weight when it's going well... Surprised really, been a while since I had even a sniffle and I used to be prone to colds.

Couple of weeks down the line and you will wonder what you were complaining about! Seriously though if you feel tired or overly sore then have a rest day,as i said to you before when training nearly everyday then a day off hear and there is no biggie.

Me too, Saturday is now arms day - just knocked it all on a day, no biggie as most sessions are the 70-80 mins range, only straying to the 90 mins if I warm up the big stuff with a few more lighter sets. This seems a really good way to train for progress. Obviously the gains will probably level out in a couple of months, but hopefully, with a break in a few weeks(5) for just really light stuff, I can shock it up again to drag the gains a bit further.

Yep,you should get good gains but it will level out a little when you get used to it,but as you said just change it around a little for a few weeks.
