I always have a good dump especially if I'm squating. Nothing worse than letting one go when in a squat!

Why are Chavs like slinkies? They have no real use but it's great to watch one fall down a flight of stairs.

But Max can only half fill it apparently!

Maybe when he says a "full bum" it means he just had his weekly 800mg of test shot into his ass  Kidding on guys! :P

Wake up at 5:30

35g whey in water

Make my porridge, all weighed out the night before.

Nail it.

Get changed into kit.

At 6:00, have black coffee + supps as required (using up some Pulse I got given at the moment, not that it seems to do anything)

6:20 - drive to the gym

6:27 - wait for gym to open

6:30 - Train

Have you tried adding in some BCAA to water and juice during workout yet?

Yeah Alex, I used to drink BCAA's during my workouts, but after a while I just couldn't handle the taste anymore - so I now neck them all right at the beggining of my workout.

But after doing some reasearch, I was more inclined to believe that leucine was the most important amino in a bodybuilding context (not to mention cheaper) so I made the switch from the 4:1 ratio BCAA mixture I used to drink, to pure leucine with a bit of whey to supply the additional aminos. So far so good!

I'm currently on a 2500 cal carb cycle diet and I've managed to increase lbm ever so slightly (I can't see it, but my friends are shocked at my new size) while losing a bit of fat so I'm pretty chuffed. Seems like the leucine must be doing something!

As you say, leucine is the main one for protein synthesis so adding a little to whey is good practice. I always add in to all shakes, regardless of the timing.

I've noticed postitive things from bcaa/eaa intra workout but I tend to spend 90 mins or more so I figure it's more relevant for longer periods of training over shorter ones of around 45 mins - 1hr.

Thats cool, did you always do 90min workouts? I try to stick to 1 hour as I hear natural test levels drop sharply afterwards. Whats your take on this?

I've trained like that for years and certainly never had a negative effect but then I train more for conditioning over outright size but I'm probably well adapted by now doing it 5 days a week.

I think if you eat and supplement well it's less of an issue.

I'm finding that I can cope with longer sessions over time...typically they're now over 60 minutes and more intense than they were at 45 minutes a year ago. Definitely helps with conditioning as you say.
