Me and K-dawg have used one from newitts.com, their price is really reasonable.

Performance wise it was useful for resisted sprints but my preference now is definitely sled pulls.

not gonna use it for running (maybe use it for walks).

Want to use it for BW exercises like pushups, chins, core work. I think it would be a good addition to my equipment stock that I'm slowly building up for use with my clients. Plus I get to offset against my tax which is always a bonus.

An alternative is to get some chains - You can use those for benching/squat work and wrap them over your shoulders to do weighted pull ups /dips - Very hardcore!

I found one on Ebay that cost me about 25ish quid. You have to get your own sand (and it's sand-filled, not lead which makes it a bit bulkier) and it holds about 20kg.

That's exactly what I use now and again when training at home (probably not what you need Scott if this is for clients, but is good as an improvised bit of kit). Have got several small rucksacks and one of them is a perfect tight fit for up to 4 x 10kg plates. Have never put more than 25kg in though because am sure the straps would split, but is pretty comfortable and works well for push ups & chins etc.

@Ader: chains will be got down the line but I don't think they're as practical for what I want to do. I do have one set of chains though and on initial use my clients always look very worried lol

@Alex & Det: I know it's doable but not that professional. Awkward too I imagine when the plates move a little. Not a snug fit surely?

@Coop: yeah, looks good. How low does it sit on the front? As in does it rest on the stomach? That would be annoying I reckon and searching about seems to be something to avoid (constricts breathing etc).

My requirements are: one size & at least 20kg but ideally more, like 30kg. I've found a couple that might work. I'll keep searching though.

You can get quite narrow ones that would make 10kg and 15kg plates a snug fit and side pockets for smaller plates. But as you say, not professional.

I have the one coop and karlos use, i like it personally, used for it jumps etc

Only problem was that if you didnt strap it up fully it could bounce a bit when you were slowing down off a sprint, but that isn't really a big problem or even a small problem lol.

Do you think there would be an easy way to add extra weight to it? Ideally I'd like a 30kg one. But the one you recommend is only 20kg but is a great price.
