Does anyone actually rate this other say any other carbohydrate PWO for muscle/strength gains? I can't see how 20-40 minutes faster glycogen replenishment would make much difference.

I agree, have used all types over the years - made no difference.Porridge, egg whites and whey at the moment - works fine and very enjoyable.

Nope. Its all marketing tbh. WMS, Vit,etc etc - how much difference will it make ? Not much as its not what you have in that window but what you have in the pre and proceeding24/36 hours.

But good price anyway.

It's an option for people.

And yes it's a great price.

I use it. I've found it to be the easiest on my stomach compared to even WMS. And WMS is NOT the same. Sure, maybe it is true about the types of carbs PWO all being equal in the end, but if it is easiest to digest then I'm willing to use it. It lasts ages anyway.

Id agree - i get major sugar wobblies from Dex - but when using corn starch / wms / vit I dont. But thats the only reason I use it. But of late ive even dropped them

I've still got a big tub of WMS somewhere, haven't used it for a while. Could never use dextrose as it bloated me horribly, whereas WMS didn't so for that it's very good.

Could be extremely useful for people training twice a day. Or those training 5-days a week, eating a low-carb diet and just trying to get lots of carbs in their PWO shake.

Won't make a difference for the elite either, apart from the sponsorship pounds.....

The only benefit I see is what Scott said about feeling comfortable and if you suffer from stomach problems then it is worth the money.

A strong insulin spike pre workout from an easy digesting carb will give results, I promise you can do the pepsi challege on that. Add in some amino's or hydrolysate protein and your onto a winner IMO.

TBH i think timing on creatine doesnt make a great deal of difference, I would always have it with carbs though. And if your going to be picky over timings post workout with carbs.

I remember reading about how taking creatine can lead to it soaking up moisture from the body, including the joints. So maybe not the best idea pre-workout? I've always taken it PWO and with breakfast, always served me well.

Agreed, one of the things I have read consistently with regard to creatine supplementation is make sure your fully hydrated & you keep that way.

Nope. The premis that you need to drink 3-5 litres a day is a myth & quite untrue. I'm pretty sure all the latest research suggests there is no actual figure and that you should drink what you body tells you ie when thirsty.
