It makes no difference, your body will just adapt and excrete more water as a result of the unneccesary intake. If anything you'll be loosing more electrolytes as a result. I can't see the relation between water intake and being lean or more alkaline either.

I add a bit of him salt (or celtic sea salt) to ensure I get minerals into my body with the 3-4 litres I drink a day.

I think you really need to research the whole drinking lots of "good clean" water to see the amazing benefits. So simple. So cheap. So effective.

I'm actually rather shocked that you would say this Rob, given you knowledge I've seen on ESN so far :o

Me 2..

Him salt = lots of alkaliine minerals. You will also retain less water due to downregulation of ADH.
