No feckin way! I'm not sure I want to go super high though... unless as part of a plan to cycle protein. I feel happy on 30-40% of kcals from protein.

If anyone has any links/info/suggestions on protein cycling, please post!

I've just moved up from 1g per Lb to 3 per kg. Just to shake things up a bit. I think its important to vary all the macros from time to time whilst keeping within the realms of sensibility.

I don't cycle as such but I'll do a spike over a period of a month if I feel I'm at a sticking point.

7 days of a gradually daily increase to desired daily level

14 days at desired daily level

7 days gradual daily decrease to starting level

Was hoping you'd reply to this! How much of a variation do you typically have between your lowest protein intake and your highest?

I looked into this when Bison mentioned this earlier \late last year at MP

Basically it takes 6+ (roughyl) days on as low/no protein diet to regulate protein enzymes...(both ways)....so protein cycling for optimal muscle gain would involve something alot 7 days low protein, 10 days high protein, and towards the end of the low..you basically perform core workouts to ensure you supercompensate during the high protein phase......

I'd never really deviate below my base level but I'd try and aim for 20g increases each day if I could take it. Think I topped at 550g before.
