Have to say I was very impressed with France's performance, and surprised at the lack of cohesion from Ireland! I was expecting it to be a lot closer.

England seem to be struggling too, but Italy have upped their game, and continuously getting better IMO.

lol

Wilco was crap - What was going on and let's face it one man does not make a team despite what teh media thinks - Great back in 2003 but it's 2010 now

Bothwick = leadership - I think not - The whole team needed a kick up the ass - Why didn't they get it

England were gash today. Not capitalising on italy being a man down. If anything Italy were better than england during this time.

No leadership on the park whatsoever.

How shit are England, the forwards in the last 2 minutes should have let the ball go and the bacjks could have done something. FFS get rid of Johnson, Care, Wilkinson, Bothwick Heskell and afew others!!!!

they are so afraid of losing they are unable to go for the jugular to win a match at the death. was the same against the tallies when the wops only had 14 players on the pitch.

Can't see how you can blame Wilkinson today as he was given little options once he had the ball in hand. Forwards really lost the plot at times and lost far too much ball.

Ben Foden should be given a start.

The Irish 2nd Try was a gift as the penalty before hand should not have been reversed in Ireland's favour while the 3rd Try was a bad mistake.

Wilkinson does not attack from fly half so England are very easy to defend against, this means that the rest of the backs have less psace to operate in. His time is past, good player, but a hasbean.

Got to disagree from what I saw today as he broke the line on virtually every ball. Problem is with the ball he's getting. If you watch Care he's taking step backwards before passing which give less time to run onto the ball and give a more attacking option. Back Row aren't helping much either with support.

Flood may be a better option due to the way the team seems to be playing but thats not down to Wilkinson as a player, more that he may not fit the team he's in as they're not as well drilled as the 2002-03 team.

If Scotland had backs that could do something we would have destroyed England today. :(

Your Captain is a whiney bitch. Was moaning about everything, always in the Refs ear. What a fanny. :D

If Scotland could get the rest of the team upto the standard that the back row have operated at this year we would be alright. 8-)

As for your guys, until MJ grows some balls and drops non performing players you'll be fecked. :?

Awful game.

Wilkinson is yesterday's man, no pace, no guile, no ability to break the line and take people with him. Fluety, was he even on the pitch???? Forwards shite. Worst England team for a generation.

Makes me very sad

Well done to France as they were the best team of the Tournament but not last night.

I find it almost perplexing that an under performing England team came very close to being Grand Slam winners instead.

The most England would have got was runners up, but it shows there's some good players out there, but fluety has to go and we need the forwards to be tougher, backrow was unbalanced.

For 4 weeks when there is a world cup on we do well. For the 4 years there isn't our forwards get pushed around by a bunch of French people who don't even have any facial hair to speak of (Chabal notwithstanding). If this were powerlifting everyone would know exactly what is going on.
