Resurrected wrote:Marcus,
it was just a general question about the gel. Not particularly from a muscle building function but just generally to raise test. I'm 46 this month and whilst I have not had my test levels taken, I dare say they may be low. Although only symptom I possibly have is lethargy/tiredness and this could be due to the ridiculous shift pattern I work.
Resurrected wrote:I asked a few weeks ago. I got BW done but he did not test for test levels!!! Even though I specifically asked. I shall be paying another visit.

After that I never saw him again.

Mind you this is the same surgery that told me my blood lipids were high a couple of years ago (just under 6 if I remember). I was called in for dietary advice and the nurse told me the usual, less fat, more veg & carbs. I started talking to her about diet and I also asked to look at the breakdown of my lipids from the BW.
The consultation ended along the lines of 'Oh you quite abit about nutrition don't you & yes your right the HDL to LDL is not that bad. You'll need to have another cholesterol test in 6 months'.
Now call me dumb (ok ok not all at once) but I would expect 6 months down the line to be called back to check all is ok. Was I fuck! Our wonderful NHS (do not get me wrong I'd not get rid) why pretend to carry out preventative checks if there not followed up.
