hmm we had a debate on here about transdermals, heres the low down; even the best transdermal carrier loses half the testosterone, the worst about 90%. Tartulho seems to think you can build muscle with it, Marcus is totally against the issue. I'd say you would need to get the base powder your self and mix with a good transdermal, not an easy task with the current China situation.

Thoughts?

Its rubbish you wont build any kind of quality muscle with gels, I thought you couldnt use Test because of your job just incase they tested you? if you can now use test use an injectable form which is painless and alot safer than any other approach you can think of....
This isnt aimed at you resurrected but guys who are scared of needles just need to get over it and try it, if your attack is going to be with AAS then injectables are the only answer, i cant beleive how many people here are scared of needles and look into other areas to try and get the same kind of benefits........they dont hurt, they are safer, gains are excellent, sides are low and its far better than destroying your liver and stomach with orals or stupid PH's which are not worth a wank towards the real thing.......ok rant over!! :D

Come on guys pull yourself together and get pinned if your thinking of crossing over to the darkside, my god its like a forum of 12yr old girls just finding out about periods...there is no better delivery at this moment in time to build quality muscle than IM.simpley get over the fear

Marcus,

it was just a general question about the gel. Not particularly from a muscle building function but just generally to raise test. I'm 46 this month and whilst I have not had my test levels taken, I dare say they may be low. Although only symptom I possibly have is lethargy/tiredness and this could be due to the ridiculous shift pattern I work.

Ah right, i would go and get a blood test done, you might be in the right scale for HRT. I went 2 yrs ago and was put on gels/patches but even though they raised my test levels they didnt solve my issues what i was feeling, so i went on injection test E every 14 days, now this totally transform my life i felt like 21 again and all my syptoms went away, now over the last 12 months ive switch to Nebido with is injection every 12 wks, now this stuff is new to the market of the UK and its untrue, ive never felt so good on HRT, its a big shot but slow release and works the best IMHO only 4 shots a year.....go and get BW done then you can discuss with your Endro the best cause of action for the problems you may be suffering

Ohh thats not right he should test for Test if you have syptoms of andropause, at your age you life will be transformed with HRT if its needed, trust me you will be smiling again lol. Also you hold and build muscle again instead of fat to muscle ratio on the wrong side!!

This is the quack who when I asked for the test, got me BW done but it only covered liver, kidney, bone and a couple of other things. But not test. His reason being that there are other things that could be causing the lethargy.

Mind you this is the same surgery that told me my blood lipids were high a couple of years ago (just under 6 if I remember). I was called in for dietary advice and the nurse told me the usual, less fat, more veg & carbs. I started talking to her about diet and I also asked to look at the breakdown of my lipids from the BW.

The consultation ended along the lines of 'Oh you quite abit about nutrition don't you & yes your right the HDL to LDL is not that bad. You'll need to have another cholesterol test in 6 months'.

Now call me dumb (ok ok not all at once) but I would expect 6 months down the line to be called back to check all is ok. Was I fuck! Our wonderful NHS (do not get me wrong I'd not get rid) why pretend to carry out preventative checks if there not followed up.
