Strong lift, but rolling the bar and still calling it a deadlift always makes me chuckle.. The clue's in the name guys!

I was not critcising per se. Merely point out that it would have failed even before a blind judge

he isnt a powerlifter though, he competes in strongman. Anyways, its 420KG! big big weight, not many people in britain have ever done that weight regardless of technqiue straps etc. Its an awesome achievement.

Yeah, it's a freaking massive lift.

If he claimed it to be a "Powerlifting qualified" lift then no way. But he didn't so who cares. I must ask Glenn Ross his deadlift PB.

Glenn said he's done a 410kg deadlift raw! No straps, no belt, no suit.

What a mammoth of a man. His form on even his light lifts is way off though, probably due to his height and proportions.

Terry is a strong man, he is not a powerlifter.

Yes he used straps and hitched it but how many people on here can pull half that?!?! Its a very heavy weight to be shifting. He close gripped benched 230KG last week and look very easy.

I roll the bar towards me when i pull and have never had a pull red lighted for it. I learnt that from watching benni too, it helps you sink into the lift before you pull.

.

I agree and although I can pull more than 1/2 of that I do use straps (no belt though) as I'd rather concentrate on my form than worry about grip. Wimp? Meh... It's a lot of weight and it IS impressive.
