That would make a 6ft guy 36 stone?! :o

Heh, i kinda didn't make much sense there. In comparison to my own height and weight.

Looking bloody...... hairy :p

front shots are great, can see just how low the bf% is, back posing is poor(as you know), im sure there is someone on here who can advise on how to look better for the pics though (plenty of tarts on here hehe) :p

can definitely see you have put mass on, excellent work :D

Apart from the obvious removal of back hair.... ;) Would you say I have made progress since my first pictures?

To give you a flavour, I'm now hovering around edit: 97.5kg first thing in the morning - just about 6'1". (1m85 in fact).

Bicep: over 17"
Chest: over 46"
waist: 34-35"
Thighs: 26 1/4 "
Neck: 18"
Calf (though there's no pic): just over 16"
Forearm: 13 1/4"

I didn't get a good pic of triceps, but they're very well developed - I'll try and get a shot some time.

Here we go:

Thoughts? I don't feel I've made much progress, and I've gained some bodyfat, but I think I've put on some good mass ?

I'm glad you all think I'm making progress. :) Makes it all worthwhile!

I don't know, I sometimes feel I look a bit leaner, sometimes I feel I don't

Plans now? Keep going! lol!I'd like to lean up a bit more (I'm not sure what my BF% is at the moment - any guesses?) But I'm still keen on packing on a bit more mass, though at the same time develop more strength to go with the show. It's hard work this gym business!

I'm a bit of a slow and steady worker - I don't think I could ever do a proper full on bulk or cut phase so I try and keep to a balance of both.

I'm definitely feeling stronger - but it's really hard to "see" yourself as big since you see yourself every day - so comparing pictures and asking other guys in the game their thoughts really helps.

My legs need a bit more work I'd like to add another 1/2 inch, and maybe try and trim an inch off the waist. Other than that I think I'm relatively happy. I'm starting to accept that I could get away with calling myself "stocky".

I'd say 13-14%? Something like that anyway.

You'd like great if you leaned out a bit. I've found that I've been leaner just by eating very cleanly - 3.5g/kg protein, 2g/kg carbs (at the absolute mass) and making the rest up from primarily 'good' fats and plenty of fish oil has leaned me up in no time, even whilst gaining/maintaining weight. Epistane may have helped with this to a degree but I've been more strict with my diet than ever and it's paid dividends.

Great thing is once you have a basic structure in place and you can avoid the temptation to cheat, the need for calorie counting pretty much goes out of the window. You can just make adjustments to your diet as you see fit :)

My diet is pretty decent, it's very varied, lots of fruit and veg, oily fish, and lean meats and I keep some thing out of my diet, like crisps, cakes, chocolates, biscuits and fizzy drinks and I drink very little alcohol. I tend to grill my meats too.

Trying to eat over 300g of protein per day is quite challenging, but I'm sure I could give it a go. Cutting down the carbs shouldn't be too hard. I do try and watch what I eat, I don't calorie count specifically, but I know what I eat and have a good idea of what it amounts to - but I'm not super strict. I think as you say the key is to outweigh the protein vs carbs.

I do a little cardio (once/twice a week, basketball/jog/squash type of thing) - but I could probably increase that a little to lean up a bit. Thing is I've worked so hard to build this mass up that I don't particularly want it to go! I think I'd like to sit on an even 100kg that would be a nice "peak" to attain. I wouldn't necessarily want to stay at that weight, as I'm happy at 97.5 - it's heavy enough for my height. Unless I start going mad with supps I doubt I'll be able to put on that much more lean mass anyway - and I'm doing this for aesthetics, strength, and as a challenge. Stuffing my face to achieve a goal is not as rewarding as working hard to achieve a good body with good muscle definition, strength and flexibility.

This is purely vanity but also I love feeling strong and being strong, I also strongly believe that it's much more attractive to look at.
