Still not happy with the front squats, this morning was better but I think im doing a bit of a GM at one stage. Something so stupidly simple is wrong and i know it. Weights so light should not feel a stuggle. I always do Zerchers as a warmup and they feel more comfortable, granted this is just the bar but my be worth trying until I've built strength then can address form issues with the other lifts. Shoulder felt dodgy so didnt jump the weight in the shoulder press, no idea why this was, just random niggle. All lifts still way too light, once i 'get' the squat I'll grab the confidence to knock everything way up.

Still need to see physio about getting my chest seen too, asked the doc when I was in for vaccinations, she reckons i've pulled it and its just inflamed. It seems activity after vaccinations isnt advised, frisbee matches followed by footy may have been a bad idea as I have random lumps on me now, one on the back of my calf is building up blood pressure and feels like its about to explode! Hope it goes away soon.

Had only these 2 sessions in the last 2 weeks or so, being raped for free time unfortunately so carbs have gone up too. Woopsies, need to improve this

Someone punched my arm the day I had a TABT tetanus/typhoid - that fucker really swole up :)

You cant be doing too much of a GM with the fronts or you would have to dump the bar. If it feels like that then the hips are probably rising faster than the chest - cue lead with your head/chest & keep the chest up/open & shoulders back.

I wouldn't do Box Front Squats like Alex suggested. Doing Box Squats you really stick you ass back (great for glute & ham activation/work), but with the bar on your front it'll be far too awkward to keep it there.

Nice one on the South Korea jaunt. That's going to be some great experience.

You horribly busy this weather mate? Was thinking of getting in a final session before I go? Only problem is with work it would have to be terribly early, late evening or weekend.

Ta Scott, will get in touch soon when things calm down a bit.

Cheers Simon, thats quite an offer! Basically just got offered there and america by university for my placement year or work for a year somewhere. Opted for what in my opinion was the 'wilder' experience. Working for a year would be good for uni and on the pocket but would in my opinion be quite boring, judging from my current experience of work anyway. America would be the obvious choice but the college I was offered wasn't too big plus I would be studying business which doesnt relate to my degree and I imagine it wouldnt differ greatly from NI, other than them not living in caves. SK I will be studying and researching in Computer Science in a massive campus basically dubbed 'Samsungville.' I figure employers will wank all over this and learning a bit of korean will help in future as the far east continues to grow.

Plus some Korean women are dying to get battered by a bit of Irish
