I have no idea what type of shoes are best suited for running, but the girlfriend has asked me to get some for her... They'd mainly be for work on the treadmill, so any suggestions particular shoes or places to get them from?
I can get them online or from a shop and the girlfriend wants them to look 'cool' but the main priority is support!

Send her to a runners shop of some sort. They'll analuze her running style and find a good fit for it. The only way to do it.
