Rugby Photos

Postby simon m on Wed Jan 14, 2009 3:28 pm

I'll be posting some shots from various games that me, Alex and Will are in.

To start, here's a link to one of me with ball in hand just about to run over some poor unfortunate idiot!

If anyone knows how to paste this photo, please do it - I'm too old to work out 'puters!!!

I do like that pic Si!!! TANK!!!!

You would need to upload the actual photo file (the .jpg) to something like Photobucket and then use an IMG tag on the post. If you wanted to email me the pics I can do it for you mate (PM me and I will give you my email addy).

It's from our web site (RDRFC.com) and it won't let you copy with right click, so needs someone much more intelligent than me to do this!

Ash, yes that does work but you still can't copy the picture.

Si - do you know the people who took the pics or are they copyright?

Normally, you just need to right click on the image, select Properties, then copy the full address (starts in http, ends in jpeg usually).

Then when typing your message, paste that address in here, but with [img]
just before it, and [/img] at the end of it.

Unfortunately, as you've found out, they're using a photo gallery program that tries to stop people from copying their photos. Annoying, and doesn't actually stop people copying the image if they want to...

You could always press your print screen button (up by scroll lock), load up MS Paint, press ctrl and P (paste), then save it as a jpeg. You'll lose image quality, but at least it works. :D

I thought of that too but they are quite small pics anyway so was worried about the quality....

See if he has the Jpeg files of the ones already online as well...that would solve the prob...

A bit of blurring might hide all those wrinkles. :D

Yeah, get a copy of the originals, or punch him in the ear until he re-enables right clicking in the gallery. :D

lol pingu, you were right it doesnt work on these ones. If your quick on the computer it only takes about a min all you do it right click outside the pick, view its html, taken the jpg address. change the html on the page so it displays it as a link. Open the text as a webpage then right click and save. Sounds long but its not lol feel like a geek :ugeek:
