He looks far too big. In fact he looks horrible. Yeah, he's one big big mutha. And I know he's not in competition physique yet, but this is a case of too big. These guys are not athletic any more. They're proper freaks. And not in a good way imo.

Huge yes, impressive yes. But he looks bloated and fat at the same time to me. Very little aesthetic value for me.

There's no hiding that mid section, even when it peak condition which is a real shame.

I could not agree more. Todays bodybuilders are awful compared to the bodybuiders of the past. Coleman has no aesthetic appeal at all.

I find the guys of today are just bloated, muscular behemoths. Give me the Zane, Nubret, Paris, Haney physiques over the likes of Cutler & Coleman any day of the week.

^^ I agree with whats said - Wolf kind of looks good still and doesnt present that gut look - but as soon as he ups his game hell just end up looking like the rest I think. Dexter and all the former guys who had good aesthetics also seem to look too gutty now as well

Agreed. The trend, certainly in IFBB contests, to go for size over aesthetics makes the sport less interesting. I know Ronnie is not in contest shape in that vid but many of the current guys even when cut up for a show don't look right to me... often too big and disproportionate IMO.

There is no way in hell will he be able to win a contest [Olympia] now unless those injuries are fully recovered which I doubt can happen.

Not saying he will win lol. He just will get into great shape. His tricep is bad his back looked better though.

He does look pretty awful.

I wonder if we'll ever see a return to better proportioned physiques over outright size?

and his quad? man his quad is majorily distorted...i dont know if he is serious about his Mr Olympia 2010 comeback but he surely seems to be eating and mainting some serious size.......but you cant knock him for his passion and how he comes across in general - he really does love the sport.

Agree with this. While I think a return to the Mr O stage isn't the best choice he could make in terms of his legacy, at the end of the day it's down to him and with his passion it's hard to see him not competing.

Shame about his waist size though... looks pretty gross!

I would say its a foolish choice getting back up there.

Going up on stage and loosing against guys who you could argue are lesser opponents than him in his day kinda tarnishes his legacy.

Everyone has their price though
