Recommend Gloves

Postby Gym-pig on Sat Mar 14, 2009 12:06 pm

I usually buy cheap neoprene York gloves from Argos . However Im shredding them at an alarming rate and now need some quality leather gloves , padded palms etc

Everytime I look for a pair they are cheap rubbish with a webbed back .

Any recommendations gents ?

I thought gloves made it harder on your grip, as it makes the bar wider.

Also, doesn't it make you a pussyhole without callouses? :D

Dont start giving me all this pussy crap !!

I have eczema and need gloves not to aggravate it . I also never take my wedding ring off and dont want to damage it

Anyway Ronnie uses them so they must make you huge ;)

I use them more of a cushion on the palm - and on select movements

On things like DB Rows, Low Pulley etc I dont. On stuff where the heavy bar digs in I do

Does that make me a pussy? Although tbh I dont need to use gloves for that...I have a special gift of being one with out them. [might as well get it in now!]

i used gloves for years and found Harbinger to be the very best. SK sport supplies go good ones as well. I had to give up the gloves as i have small hands and using gloves was making it really hard to grip stuff

Just in case someone looks this up for advice re gloves

The site KP recommended rang me . They no longer stock these gloves . Their highest spec gloves are by Maximuscle . Sorry but i would look a noob in those . So they gave me a very quick and efficient refund .

Now ordered the same gloves off e bay .

Those gloves look really nice but being strictly hetro I can't wear gloves as they are a sure fire sign of gayness.
