They repeatedly said he was a bodybuilder ,and paranoid and on steroids ( linking the two )

If the coalition want to be seen to be hard on drugs this tosser is clearly raising the "evil " that is steroids .

I just see that it is possible that it may go that way .

The media are very rarely wrong for example they say saturated fat and cholesterol are bad, we all know that they are right!

Sorry for the sarcasm, but what annoys me is all the people who blinldy read or listen to whatever is said and then take it as fact!

Interstingly and to be fair, on the BBC some 'experts' actually said the link between steroids and violence is not at all established and also pointed out that as people buy on teh black market they arenlt actually always getting the real stuff so could be taking anything - And implying that it could be the 'anything' that's the problem.

Have to say I have seen people change when they were on gear - Not sure what they were taking, probably a cocktail of stuff, and have seen the viloence come out. On the other hand I have known plenty that have no such side effects at all.

Also latest CCTV pictures released and shows he "seems to have lost weight" - So he's probably off the gear then!

That seems to be the case - gear seems to be a bit like alcohol in that respect that for a fair number of people it will increase asshole tendencies.

What's got me shakign my head about the reporting on this (clearly totally insane) Raoul Moat guy is that a lot of fuss has been made about the fact he used steroids, yet little more than a footnote that he dealt and took coke and crack... if anything his recreationals are far more likely to make him aggresive than the roids.

Agree on the gear bit tho - ive only ever seen on case in real of a go totally changing and that was someone I knew at my other gym...took tren for 2 weeks and pretty much knocked living shit out of ppl on the doors for two weekends....then he stopped taking it...couldnt handle it
