The cover model look isn't really my goal, and anyway my legs are too big for that and I'm not pretty enough ...Zane's look is what I'm really aiming for. I guess genetics will determine what I can achieve at the end of the day. Chest is what I've really got to work on either way, but it is slowly improving I think.

Mirror needs a clean

I leaned out quite a bit in those 3 weeks to the end of June, then went on holiday, came back feeling soft and small and seem to have added some mass again since then. Fat gain isn't as bad as I thought, although I feel pretty soft.

What's weird is that I'm only 84.6kg right now. From memory I was about 83kg in the pics in June.

I'm going to cut for a month or so, get very lean, and then think about getting bigger again I think.

Put the scales in the cubpoard and get them to feck. They are nothing but trouble and often tell you nothing.

SHoudlerre bigger, more width to the side delts.

BF% is 12 TOPS. you look lean enough by anyones standards i'd say.

Get bulking and build a bigger chest to balance of your big back and shoulders. you will diet away your chest at this rate untill you look like keira knightley

I think my problem is that I carry fat on my face pretty readily, and because that's what I see in the mirror the most, I notice the fat more than most would. It just doesn't suit me to carry more than 11-12% fat

Agree with you though. I think it's my chest training that's at fault... don't really know how to hit it harder though! The fucker just won't grow!

Maybe need to vary your training ethos. I will be doing hit again after the hol's but will take more of a volume apprach to chest as hit seems to work well for everything else but chest for me.

Thats one thing i have learned this year... just because you are training in a particular style, doesn't mean you should do every bodypart in that style!

Yeah I've wondered about trying something similar in terms of different methods for different body parts. I almost wish I could put my back on hold because that seems to grow whatever I do. Chest has grown but not to the same extent.

Despite what you've said I do want to get leaner again - so give me September for that, then I'll get on the case. I seem where you're coming from but I'm as fat as I want to be now and if I start bulking from here I'll end up pretty unhappy at 13+%

Here's a pic from today. I've put it up because I'm going to cut for 8 weeks from today and will probably put a pic up each week to keep myself motivated as I'm going to be dieting pretty hard and I know it's not going to be easy!

Reckon I'm about 12% at the moment, possibly a little more. Fat distributes itself quite evenly on me, and whilst this is generally a good thing it doesn't really help with showing off my shape as quite a bit sits around my obliques and definitely hides my taper and chest a bit, which is actually a hell of a lot bigger than it was in my last pics. I want to get down to sub-8% before I go away in March.

Will weigh myself dry in the morning but expect to be around 88kg (I'm 5'10").

I love your back and your V taper is superb. What a wonderfully weeny waist as well!! Fantastic definition. Your legs are awesome!! The improvement in your chest is very clear to see from the comparisons as well.

You have got an excellent balance of muscle and size. Looking strong and muscular but athletic as well. And lean.
