^^ nice

---

I've decided to give the whole "leave PWO drink 60mins" a go for the next week or two. Did it today and managed it ok. Took about 80g carbs + 40g protein (rice & pea protein) + creatine + taurine + cinnamon + him salts (standard PWO shake for me).

How long does it take the catecholamines to "go away"? Thus, what would generally be considered the minimum amount if time to go without some food/drink etc PWO?

The only figure I can find is that Adrenaline and Noradrenaline remain elevated for 2 hours after 80 minutes of exercise at 75% VO2 Max.

After a marathon its a whole day. 8-)

I doubt in either of these cases a fast occurred until levels returned to normal.

I've found 1 hour perfect for me as it takes me about that time to get home and make some food :D

I think 1-2 hours is a safe margin to go by if you're supplementing during workout.

Like cleaver I usually eat an hour after but I've certainly left it a lot longer at times and hasn't impacted me in a negative way.

Hmmm, hardly ground breaking.

I can't figure out how they got 18g of carbs though from the ingredients listed...

I think you can almost by 1kg of PeptoPro in the US for a similar amount. Thats what you call markup.

I hate the feeling of being full when training, I like the feeling of an empty stomach myself.
I cant train with the intensity when it feels like something is in my stomach.

I dont do shakes either, I eat food PWO.

Totally agree. I'll leave a good 90mins-120mins from eating to training but I have found with PeptoPro at least that it's no different to sipping water as you train so pre and during feels like an empty stomach. Still don't bother PWO apart from solid meal an hour or so after.

Right now I eat roughly two hours pre, always carbs & protein but lowish fat, and then twenty mins pre I start my protein & carbs shake - glug back half intitially and then sip the rest through the session. Nothing immediately PWO at the moment as sessions are short enough not to warrant it, then just a meal 60 mins later.
