Fat loss & Irviginia

Postby Resurrected on Sun Feb 01, 2009 4:48 pm

Okay before I get shouted down. I'm not that concerned anout the supplement and am cynical about the claims in humans, although I have also posted a couple of research links. But if you can ignore the blatant advertising within the article it does make interesting reading. Note the dosage suggested in the LEF article is way underdosed compared to the studies.

Why are Chavs like slinkies? They have no real use but it's great to watch one fall down a flight of stairs.

Orlistat has just become available over the counter.

Sounds effective, but slightly dodgy to me. I guess if you're using vitamin supplements, you'll avoid the issue of fat-soluble vitamin depletion, but don't you get testosterone from saturated fat?
Not to mention the main issue that it gives people more of an excuse to eat junk food instead of a healthy balanced diet + exercise. There's more to exercise than just reducing BF, afterall.

Ah well, might be of interest to you bulk/cut people. :D
