Sounds like they did the right thing, letting your body deal with it but monitoring you incase you crashed.
There's no "antidote", like the suggested valium.
In medium levels of overdose, monitoring and treating the symptoms (this may be where valium may be given by some doctors, for the shakes? not sure).
In high levels of overdose, you get all sorts of fun treatments. Strong laxatives, foul-tasting activated-charcoal drinks (absorbs poisons, gets crapped out instead of passing into blood), stomach pumping (tube down your nose), haemodialysis/filtration (pumping your blood through a machine to clean it)...
Just be glad you have a tolerance.
