I've found the site to be very slow in recent weeks. Strangely not all the time though. And other websites I use are fine at the same time.

Also, I often, like just now, get a "Forbidden" message when viewing new posts. Something like:

It's just quite annoying.

Yeah, I've tittered at some of the posts complaining about the site in the past - some people rely on technology far too much and get freaky too quickly when it breaks down. But the site is becoming really poo for traffic management. At peak usage times(the evenings) youtube is running better for me and that is a good sign that something is amiss. In fact even facebook is quicker at times.

The odd hit of refresh here and there is no bother, but losing pages of PMs and having to retype them is the pits. That said, the quality of banter and advice/suppot on here is second to none

just being monitored but if anyone gets any can you log the time and just post it in here - ive been keeping an eye and havent got any - which is making it harder

Stuff like this happens alot when a server process starts chewing up too much memory, which causes *random* problems until the process recycles/restarts.

Thats common on cheap hosting where you get limited memory etc

def not cheap - but equally on a shared platform which is the cause more than likely
