Postby NHeaven on Wed Sep 17, 2008 6:27 pm

Right i'm gonna order some bits and pieces so far i have...
Glutamine,
Vit B,
Vit C,
Pre and ProBiotics.
I've been taking ZMA and not sure if i've felt any benefit but it's only been about a month.
I have omega 3's i take about 10g a day.
I'm also on 500mg Rhodiola a day.
Been wondering if kelp would be a good addition...

Can any of you guys recommend anything else ?
I'm trying to drop some fat (lots of !) via low carbs higher fats and protein, whilst upping my energy levels but trying to avoid stims (god i love stims !!), so if anyone has any other non stim fat burners....?

Sorry if this has been done to death, i'm new here ya see ! lol :D

green tea

I prefer seperate zinc and mag supplements, this way you can take advantage of the AI effect of the zinc on waking and mag at bed.

Its a free forum almost any brand gets air play hear, apart from MP as they don't allow any talk of competitiors on their board so we'll give them no air time here.

As for the metrx I hear its tasty but you'd be better off with a blended protein to give a constant release of protein and minimize the insulin response.

As in containing milk protein ? it's a blend of concentrate and isolate.
Creapure creatine ? You think this would help ?
Would coconut oil be better than olive oil ? bearing in mind i'm using coco milk to make my shakes

No problem mentioning myprotein products here either.

Creatine is awesome imho. Helps in many ways... best bang for buck supplement there is??

Yes it's much better than olive oil, especially for cooking in.

Glutamine can also raise metabolic rate slighty plus it's an excellent supplement for recovery and boosting the immune system.

R Isomer Alpha Lipoic Acid is a very powerful antioxidant which also improves insulin sensitivity and has glucose dispersal powers which can bring blood glucose levels back to normal after consuming carbs.

Na is sodium which is bonded to the R-ALA to make it a more stable isomer which prevents it from deteriorating and losing its mojo. Which can happen if not stored correctly.

If you are eating very little carbs then it can cause hypoglycemia. I would not consider taking a cap of this unless there is at least 20g of carbs in your meal. I've experimented with taking at lower quantities and it was not much fun. My blood sugar went so low I felt like brad pitt.
