Tell you what Si, you get all the boys organised and get a proper thread on forearms with pictures organised and I'll see what I can do.

Not sure that the other things are, but unfortunately I can hazard a guess, you want details you gotta ask. ;)

Thanks Simon - tips will be looked into, time for some gruelling shoulder workouts! :D

As for Burt Reynolds - well in his time he was considered "hot" so I'll take that entirely as a compliment! :D

I'm quite happy with what I've achieved, and this is just with taking extra protein and addressing my diet - I wonder if I should start looking into things to aid my training/recovery but the logical person in me says I've achieved this why should I bother?

Agree with you there on the why bother, but if you're at a sticking point that a week's rest can't get you past then it may be time to have a try of what's out there. Just add things in one at a time and see how you get on...

Agreed. Still from 87kg to 97.5kg's quite an achievement over a couple of years I reckon. :)

Thanks it's somehow always nice and motivating to hear other people say positive things and telling you you've progressed, when you don't always see it yourself, I'm extremely self critical and can't always accept my development. It is a lot of hard work and slow progress, and for an impatient person I'm quite happy with patience and resilience. Hearing comments from people like those here with experience and expertise I trust really makes it worthwhile.

LOL! Yes I changed my name as I didn't see the point in using an old username I've been using for years when it's so much easier being addressed by my real name! :D

Scott - thanks for your input too, are they the same weaknesses pointed out by Alex or is there something else I need to work on?

If I'm being brutally honest, I still feel underpowered and not as big as I want to be, but that's a psychological thing I think - you know, you never see what others see (plus I suck at posing! lol!). However, I don't know if I'll ever achieve true happiness in my physique - I still want to grow and at the moment I'm happy to keep the BF low, but less bothered about being ripped to shreds.

I agree with Alex you need some more work on the shoulders, try cable side laterals - the daddy of lateral movements!


Simon is a very funy guy. Makes me proper laugh out loud just about every day :lol:

I agree on the delts. need a bit more cap on them to compliment your big guns. Going between heavy slightly cheating standing side laterals to super strict seated ones week to week helped me bring mine up a good bit.

Im getting a bit pissed off that we have to keep enforcing the rules regarding the ass shots although that is a nice ass and good pic so i will let you off :lol:
