yepas Alex said some work (if externally linked) some wont...its a technical issue which just needs fixing...which Im being lazy about.......

I found it only worked if I uploaded it from an external link. It wouldn't work when I tried uploading the pic to ESN.

Upload the avatar to some server (like imageshack) and then use the 'Link off-site:' option on the user panel. Only worked that way for me.
