Outstanding weights. Quite amazing. Interesting about the 1rep max on each session. I don't think I have even tried a 1 rep max.
Also being world class & not even taking any supps but whey makes me wonder just how much more you will or will not be able to do now you are trying creatine etc.
Awesome 8-)

In all honesty i think the whole supps issue is way over-rated. Most supps do nothing for performance and at best provide a placebo like effect and supps that are worthwhile provide an extra 5% - 10% tops, the rest is split between training, recovery (nutrition & rest) and genetic predisposition.

I totally agree with that Karlos. Good training & diet is far more important than supps.

shoulder day today, fairly short session today as had to be work early so went for a max effort day

smith press (seated)
weights listed are weight I added to bar not total

10x40kg
10x40kg
10x80kg
8x120kg
5x140kg
2x160kg thought id go for it
1x170kg, actually it wasnt 170 it was the whole world. Pushed up about 1mm a min!
10x80kg warmdown

dumbell lateral raise things with 20kg'ers
10 reps
10 reps
10 reps

and time to go

although short, quite sweet. shoulder power increasing. going to switch back to standing press for next time.

The N.O xplode is working (maybe placebo) but do feel more awake on it. Only on 3 scoops at the moment.

legg day

used squat machiney thing as racks being used
Image

weights are what I loaded, does not include machine or

10x50kg
10x50kg
10x100kg
10x150kg
10x200kg
10x250kg
9x300kg
7x350kg
4x400kg
2x450kg
1x500kg
now a weight nobody has ever tried-

1x500kg+1 Barry! hes about 75kg.

loved the session today! Feeling groovy about training again etc and making gains! Machine isnt as good as proper squats but really gives the legs a great pump and is better than using a smith. I wish I had longer this morning.

the machine has a more natural movement as it moves in a slight arc.

575kg machine squat??!!

OK, so it's a machine, OK, so it's not a real squat...

...but 575kg? Still. Jeez. I presume the movement feels something akin to a "hack squat"?

These machines are pretty good at mimicking the movement. Used to use at my old gym.

Mental load up though Rogue.

I think you're right regardless that i do love my supplements. However I would argue that for how I train and how lean I am I'd find it very hard to sustain the level of training I'm currently using. No doubt if I sacraficed some BF for extra calories or reduced my total work load then I could happily de-supplement to basics.

Without beng all boastfull I'm in pretty good shape right now asthetically and strength wise which hand on heart has a lot to do with supplementation.

Also I find it interesting to see how the body reacts to them and how far you can push it.

You'd also be surprised just how much some athlete's supplement, depending on the sport of course.
