i'm on fishoil, glucosamine, chondroitin and msm. Making sure every joint is functioning how it should, tightness up or downstream of a joint and subsequent poor positioning etc, is usually the reason for pain.
Eg. I had wrist tendonitis for a good few months, tried resting, icing, releasing, stretching wrist flexors and extensors, but it kept coming back. Turned out something in my upper arm was super tight - possibly brachialis, sorting this tightness pretty much instantly cured my wrist.
