The perfect physique??

Postby Gym-pig on Sat Feb 05, 2011 11:43 am

This is pretty much as good as it gets for me - steve reeves . Perhaps a little more development in the legs , but you have to remember how long ago this was - 1940/50's and no drugs (?) and no supplements

Can't really pinpoint a single physique/person, but definitely not a bodybuilder-esque physique for me. Prefer more powerful & athletic looking physques, sprinter/weightlifter/gymnast. :D

Bob Paris for me. Not only is it the physique, but the way they show it thats important as its classic photos that people remember.

Frank Zane - more realistic for my ability as Bob's bellies were just astounding

A bigger more modern version (as in more advancementin drugs and nutrition) of Bob for me is Levrone. Looks as if he was crafted by a master sculpter in condition.

Modern era definately Levrone.

For posing it has to be Ed Corney.

Robby Robinson in the same era and a good interview with him: http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_art ... son_speaks

wtf 1940's and 50's no drugs (go and have a word with yourself)
at the rsik of sounding like a fcukin nazi, a lot of modern medical advancements came out of hitler years, you tellin me that ped's from german pharma were not knocking about before commercialisation?

look at the disdain on the german faces watching a black athlete kick ass- as if their fcukin nutty professors were not ordered to breed winners

paris, labrada, zane, wheeler, that moroccan fucking dude i can never remember

but mentzer.......definitely one strong cat! substance over drug use for sure

I saw this cover a few months ago and thought that his physique is great; powerful, lean and athletic:

Of course you can't see his legs but I'm sure they'll be decent given his upper body mass.
