Vinegar Clinically Proven To Destroy Fat Without Diet Change

The most interesting research though, is a study published in the journal Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry, performed on 175 obese patients who were administered different doses of apple vinegar, but did not change their diet or exercise patterns. One group received a low dose of vinegar, another a high dose, and the placebo group got a beverage that tasted like apple vinegar, but had no vinegar.

The 500 mL beverage (about 2 cups), contained mostly water, with the low dose group getting 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of vinegar mixed in the water, and the high dose group getting 30 ml (2 tablespoons).

Subjects drank 1 cup of the mixture after breakfast, and another cup after supper. After 4 weeks, body fat levels decreased significantly in both the high and low dose protocol. The higher the dose, the greater the body fat decrease. After 8 weeks, waist circumference decreased in the vinegar groups. Body weight, visceral (belly) fat mass and triglyceride levels also decreased in the vinegar groups.

Did their teeth also reduce in overall mass? haha, no good find, there's always been some sort of evidence for apple cider vinegar and fat loss. Would like to see the full study though.

one situation whereby drinking the "rolls royce" of vinegar- ie vino, does cock all
acetic acid been used for years- just a pain in the brown eye trying to remember to dose

These positive results are probably due to subjects simply consuming more water. Highly unlikely that they consumed 500ml before breakfast and again before dinner before the study.

I bet better results would be seen if the vinegar was swapped for fresh lemon juice.

in what way scott?
AA alleged to be a glucose disposal agent and to inhibit lipogenesis- so on that premise i would say consumers would have had a blunted insulin response and quickly returned to oxidising lipids

thats how i would perceive it

Simply drinking more water (ideally clean and slightly alkaline) will result in fat loss. Water hydrates and also helps eliminate toxins (acids, waste etc).

Every client that I have successfully persuaded to drink more water has lost body fat. I get them to do this early on without even talking about solid food.

Also, wouldn't water help blunt the insulin response?

Scott - but the placebo had water and they didnt lose nowhere near as much....
