Mexico, the Yucatán Peninsula, Tulum, not Cancún (you can visit it while there but it's probably not the place to stay while on honeymoon :D). Good 5* hotels, lots to see and do, great beaches. And you can get all-included packs and stuff yourself with food and drinks 24/7 :)
All that I say is hypothetically speaking and I do not condone the use of illegal substances. You should also eat your vegetables and use high SPF sunscreen

I can vouch for the Yucatan Peninsua - It's where I went on my Honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen. Nice beaches & sea. Can get very hot though I went end of may beginning of June and it was in the 40's at times - A good time for a swim in underground caves.

And agree that Cancun is a day trip - I only went to Cancun to get on a boat for a snorkelling/diving expedition - Diving was great :)

Kp you prove yourself to be a fud yet again

Rez, want to do something a bit further afield that we both fancy and make it special. I have some shares in my work to cash in so a good bit of the money is there provided we dont get fucked by the SFO

Ive been to Egypt and its excellent value

I would say that they tend to be 5 star hotels but 3 star food and 1 star " local " drinks
But Im into beach holidays and a pile of books so it was perfect for me

Maldives was amazing but is obviously a beach /diving holiday . I also wouldnt go unless its all inclusive and I dont think £1500 will get you that

Thanks for the ideas and hep ladies

We spent some time looking last night and we have decided that if we are spending that kind of money it should be to do something we both REALLY want to do....and that is a safari holiday. Slightly different from Mexico and that but hey :D

Anyone done anything like that before and got any ideas of the best place to look. Spent an hour the other night and the prices vary so much and dont seem too inclusive very often

My neice & her hubby have travelled all over the world. The last I checked she had visited 29 countries. They did a safari a couple of years ago (Madives for their honeymoon). I'll get some details from her.

Don't. You'll get ripped off and you do NOT want the missus to show any skin around local men. They seem to view that as a sign of no morals and are not afraid to say and demonstrate that. It still makes my skin crawl to remember.

Mexico would be amazing, or you can always stick closer to home with Europe or maybe head to Russia?

Irrespective of where you go it's your honeymoon so it will be special either way.

Certainly had no problem like that in the area of Egypt I went to.

I know someone who was drinking at a bar with his bird out there and was being noshed off by a ladyboy whilst talking to his wife. They took the lady boy back to their room and had all sorts of fun.

I bet Fiona would love that
