Don't know a lot about it having only read a little but am not sure about the claims that just about everyone is deficient... as far as I understand there's plenty of K2 in bioavailable form in stuff like butter, cheese and egg yolks, especially the organic stuff.

I guess the main question is whether supra physiological levels of dosing are even more effective and health beneficial... can't answer that one without study hunting.

Haha, I think you are right - still not joined the dark side (am training regularly again but not really bodybuilding so no point in sticking needles in my butt just yet) but must admit have been doing a bit of reading... maybe when my hormones start to dry up I might just cross over...

Jaded is a good word for how I feel too. I think there may well be some benefit, but like so many of these things claimed to have wonderous, often near miraculous properties, the strongest effects seem to happen when people take them as part of a much larger change in lifestyle, changing from doing feck all for their bodies that's healthy to suddenly eating right, exercising and supplementing with lots of things... I often think that the main benefits come from the lifstyle changes as a whole rather than just one particular thing.

They look to give this the women before giving birth and offer the option of giving to new borns as well.

Yes, my two kids had K2 after they were born and up to 1 year old. IMO K2 will be the next big thing after Omega 3 and D3.

Interestingly, back when I was a baby, mothers were advised to give lamb's brain and liver to the kids as soon as they were allowed to eat and that was a good source of Omega 3, K2 and D3.
All that I say is hypothetically speaking and I do not condone the use of illegal substances. You should also eat your vegetables and use high SPF sunscreen

I gave my wife a Vit D & Vit K combo prior and during pregnancy.

My son got a Vit K injection after (although I'm not sure it was needed). Pretty fucking brutal giving a newborn an injection imo. Same with vaccinations.

I think Vit K has some good benefits, but it seems (like many supps) that it's a certain type that is best
