DY NOX PUMP - review

Postby Gym-pig on Sat May 15, 2010 3:31 pm

Dorian Yates NOX pump

I saw this in Tescos for £44 a box - bloody hell !!!!

Anyway at the gym yesterday it was on sale for £1.50 a go so I thought as the gym is only £3 . Id give it a go

( if any one from the BNBF is reading this , my me I mean my friend , definately definately not me :D )

TASTE

It doesnt taste nice but its not dreadful . It said fruit punch . Ill have that it had a punch , not not fruit !

It had a strong taste which is hard to describe

PUMP

It was back and biceps day and I can honestly say that the effect on pump was minimal

MENTAL EFFECT

WTF - I was wired !!!
What the hell is in this stuff . Forget 90 secs between reps - I went to failure and then wanted to start my next set again . My desire to work out was through the roof !!
I wanted to lift everything and wasnt even interested in rest between sets

STRENGTH

Not sure of the effect as I was using a lot of back machines I dont normally use - I did feel strong and most importantly there was no dip in strength as the sets went on !!

RECOMMEND ??

It is good and I had an excellent workout . The price is madness though so I ( my friend )wont be buying a box in the near future

Sounds to me like the effects i got from no xpolode when i treid that a few years back. you feel crazy wired and can keep going. minimal boost on pump.

The wired effect wears off i found though and your left with not a whole lot tbh

the wired effect will be over within 2 weeks if you take it reg hence only use it when you need that extra push on heavy days but a good product anyhow

At £44 a box it wont be regular pal !!

Quality product but totally stupid price

KP - any idea why such a stupid price and you aware of any cheaper clone type products .

RAB - went for a hour workout and had to force myself to leave at 1hr 20 mins ! Energy never dipped although there was a slight headache later

Still lives in a nice area & still drives the Aston, has his gym & I believe he started a franchise with them. Although last time I checked there were none, other than the original in Brum which he still owns.

Also he had started a new supplement line.

I just tried a sample of this... The best pre-workout supp I've ever tried. As said, increase in pump wasn't that noticeable, but the mental affect was ridiculous! Also, I feel it stopped fatigue kicking in too quickly. However, when the supp wore off, I felt absolutely battered. After training, I'd sat down and was just drinking my PWO shake and then BOOM, low blood sugar! I only had one meal before training, so this was probably the main cause, but I think having the supp stopped me from feeling like shit during the workout and I could feel it ware off almost instantly.

I think I'll buy a box and use it now and again to give me an extra push when needed.

use it few times a month for the effects to last longer - the more reg you take it - the lesser its effects appears as the body gets too used to it.

I found this with BSN NO-Xplode a few years ago when it came out and was all the rage. was crazy but wore off and wast worth a sh!t.

Mixing Tyrosine with a Caffeine source does the trick although for me HCL does nothing anymore but Green Tea hits the spot instead so flavoured Whittard Green Tea Powder goes down well pre and during workouts for me. Mix in some Reloaded for the win.
