Can anyone recommend a good pair? I don't exactly know what constitutes a good pair..one's which don't snap i suppose? I had a pair of golds gym ones years ago and they were shit.

I recently got my first and last pair of straps. They're from Ironmind and I'm pretty sure they'll last me a lifetime.

Cheers, i'll check it out.

I've always been against straps, but now i realise my deadlift form is better double overhand, so fook it, im gona use 'em for my heavy deads. My grip will get plenty of work off everything else.

My APT's have lasted me a couple of years so far and still pretty good.

These are what I have:

But fancy trying these at some point:

I also use APT straps, although I lost a pair a couple of weeks back and have taken the opportunity to train without them altogether. I'll get some more for heavy deads though, much prefer lifting double OH.

I just got cheap ones (£3.99 off amazon I think) and just accept they'll break at some point.

I have some leather ones too - Confortable and great for light work (e.g. power snatches when you want to concentrate purely on form and not worry about grip) but useless if you're going heavy.

I think i'll just go with the basic apt straps off rab's site.

Those look rather strange KP, are they even straps?

I got my texas power bar & some elbow sleeves from him. He sells good gear for a decent price.
