Fat Burners - What do you think of these?

Postby Rab on Mon Jan 25, 2010 12:21 pm

Got a bottle of these fat burners yesterday with the following Ingredients

Sida cordiofolia 125mg
Caffeine - 100mg
White Willow Bark Extract - 75mg
Naringin - 25mg

Took one this morning with my shake brekkie and it gave me a nice little AM lift. nothing nastly like alot of fat burners. The dragon also took one. didnt feel anything but says her appetite has been very much reduced and she feels fine

There doesnt look to be that much in them but something a little more mild than ECA might be the trick for morning use at work etc?

What do you think of the ingredients. I dont know much about any of them tbh...Sida was banned by WADA iirc?

Seems similar to most of the brand ingredients. Looks a good mix and yes sidi is IOC banned.

I was under the impression that fat burners *can* help to accelrate fat loss when taken with a cutting routine/calorie defecit.

But aren't really any good in their own? For example if you took them without any CV exercise.

How do they work? (Sorry for n00bness) Do they supress apetite? break down fat cells some how? Speed up metabolism?

Bit of a combination of all of those really although I've never noticed reduced appetite.

The only OTC fat burners out of the few I've tried that I found to be any good are Twin Lab Diet Fuel, which I doubt you'll fine anywhere now and Hydroxycut Hardcore, which can be found cheap on ebay.

Are you not happy taking your ECA stack in the mornings? Or is it just a little excessive or serves no purpose?

Im a little cautious of the ECA in the morning before/during work. Might be a little much for me in terms of the stimulant effect it has and I dunno if id be into the appetite supression of it during the first half of the day (when my appetite is at its lowest anyway) which i have felt a little, but this seems to be washed over by post workout hunger so that works out ok.

Something more gentle for morning/daily use is required for me i think.

Anyone had a look at Extreme Nutritions Lean R? That seems to get decent reviews

Id say a little for some of them :) but from looking around on the net too it seems to get a no-bad write up.
