I got few trees in the garden and am using them for sprints. the vid on that earlier site show three bands being used together but you can get away with two.

Do these not have a negative impact on stride though similar to running with weights and air socks?

^^ yeah, they're not good for sports people and athletes etc. As a fat loss tool then they may work.

Why not try them for chins KP? Loop under the leg and you'll get a better chinning experience than those assistance machines.

Also, why not do hill sprints? Probably the best fat loss exercise there is.
Start with 30m x 10 @ 85% max speed with 90 seconds rest.
Then increase gradually as the weeks go.

I dont have hills where I am - or I would.

Plus its just another option for me on these cold mornings and to be honest its also not giving women and men heartattacks in the very early morning when they see a guy in a hoody steaming past and slowing down!

Didnt understand the chins one Health....

Same here, i'd love to do hill sprints. Upstairs running is amazing too.

Attach the band (looping it through itself) to the chinning bar, then step on the band hanging down with one leg and start chinning. I am assuming you find chins tough at the mo, hence me suggesting a way for you to starting chinning in a more natural movement.

hmm no chins aint a problem can comfortable do normal chins 7-8 with 20kg so thats not an issue.
but get way more in terms of back improvement doing them in the rack chins manner.

big ups to the rilla monster for recommending absolute gold
ordered some bands yesterday, came today !
got the "full strength" ones and a door anchor.

just had a quick go and nearly pulled my arms out of their sockets- perhaps i should have opted for the baby ones first, i havent done any form of resistance exercise since july!

i think they will be coming to lanzarote and barca with me
