Yeah, you know, like getting smashed.

Think it was a sponsor's logo but has faded.

Couple of photo's from Saturday's game.

This was the run for my first Try. I'm looking to give the pass at the moment.

A gap opens up and as the Winger (left) turns away to cover the pass I turn on the gas...

Image
... and through with only the Fullback to step for my Try.

Picking up a kick from the oppo and looking to run it back.

Looking both beastly strong and athletic in those pics... I'd close my eyes and suddenly get religion if I saw that frame charging in at me for a tackle!

Don't be soft - a chance for glory approaches!

Now, Will is someone I'd not like to face one on one as he's effing big.

Yeah can imagine - in his pics, I often get Will confused with a brick wall. I bet it's even more confusing in person.

All this talk and all these rugby pics have got me thinking about bulking a bit, getting a pair of boots and trying out for the local club next year... if i'm still in the UK. Haven't played since school but in 2010 want to do a bit more than weights and cardio... fancy getting into sport again.

No reason not to play and size isn't really important, it's fitness that counts, so go for it.

Great pics Alex.

LOL Simon you're too kind  Det - a brick wall? You calling me fick?!

I'm hoping to get back into it after the new year, I just don't have the ability to join you all for the next couple of months I'm afraid :( Fitness is good at the moment though which is good. :)

lol, if i were ever to call you fick it would never be to your face... you are far too big for me to take the risk

I think your are right, but for me a bit of extra size would give a psychological boost. Am not as big as i have been in the past due to a while of not really training properly... getting back to a size i feel comfortable at is my first priority and then will see.

If i do give the rugby a shot then at least i know i've got good advice for training from here - you, Alex, Will, Shicky, Lys...

Im guessing due to clash of kits, you silly sausage. That or Alex now plays for the lions, also a reasonable possibility
