Flexability

If trying to touch your shoulders a la hitting a Double Biceps pose, what do you think is the more limiting factor; Bicep Peak or Tricep Length.

A combination of bicep length and size/peak

I have very short biceps and will always be able to touch my shoulders i think, unless i grow 19 inch arms which aint going to happen.

Me too but I'm miles away from touching my shoulders now.

I've even notice it when wasing my face and hair now, pretty much since the Epistane!

Thinking I might have to train them down...

Yeah...

Combination of that and maybe shoulders growing and losing flexability there as well.

To put this into perpective, if I put my hands on my ears my Biceps are at full contraction!

I think higher reps and detailing may be the answer and grow some Triceps.

How is your relaxed pose, do you:

- have hyperextension at the elbow joint
- have neutral length (arm can be placed into bony block - no hyper-extension)
- have slight flexion on relaxed arms (should be able to activate the triceps to get full extension - only 5-10deg left)

This can help tell you whether or not significant muscle imbalance exists at the elbow joint

I can put all fingers on my shoulders and not really be flexing, arms are around 18".
do you have small feet? isnt the length of your forearm (from elbow crease to wrist) the same as your foot size?
I have long forarms (i think) for my height.

I'm fairly small jointed and framed so my arms being just under 18" is pretty big for me.

I've never been that flexable anyway :)
