have read through the last few pages on this thread, kind of makes sense kind of doesnt. I guess quite a bit got chopped.

Either way I'll say SCOTT your doing great. From the pics I saw on UKM you look leaner, waist is coming in nicely and you still have monster quads!!! Your bleeding strong too so...only you know if your training hard enough - with good form - and I dont doubt you are!!! Volume is a personal thing, I do quite a lot, others not so much...

I think diet does affect your lifting...getting leaner requires you take in less energy than you need, which will hamper your strength etc. I dieted for most of last year and didnt really get much stronger over the year, now Im eating normal amounts my strength as pretty much doubled and in some lifts even more..cardio too will hamper your training efforts, it batters your immune system. more so when you get tiny amounts of sleep. Should these be excuses? no.

bodybuilding is not rocket science. train hard with good form and eat well. Of course closer to show time you have to pay more attention to detail, but that is more trail and error. Some nail it first time others dont.

One thing I've come to dislike about the internet is there are far too many armchair experts. When all is said and done they arent on the stage with you, so weather you did it wrong or right, as long as you are making progress and are happy with it, whos to argue?

Keep it up Scott, in a few months you can post up your pics looking ripped and ask the question - so did it work?

id agree with you mike - its like Gear - some people take soo much and still look shit no matter what; and are weak as fuck.

One of those things I guess - some dont know when to quit others think little progress is optimal

end of the day its what YOU feel is progress that counts - regardless of if its sub optimal.

wierd hey! but good post.

I think that the posts weren't from armchair experts but people who train and are trying to offer some assistance.

We've all commented on how good Scott is looking since losing fat, we're also suggesting that he programmes his mind to win.

Also Mike, remember the spectator sees more of the game...
