That's insane, almost not a bench press. Am not sure how good that might be for the back either.

Theres a bloke in my gym that does someting similar but not as bad - and shouts as well on each rep.

Doesn't your arse need to be touching the bench to be a legal lift?

In that position some of his ass may well be touching so legal - I guess with your legs that wide it'd be difficult for it not to be touching.

People will always try to bend the rules. Similar to what happened with the clean & press.

Looks like he'll regret that in later life though.

From the style of the bench and the flat foot placement he looks like he's in the IPF. I'm not sure if he would be able to touch legally in that position. He wouldn't be able to tuck his elbows at all and his stroke would be a few inches longer than it looks like in that picture. I'd like to see the video, anyway.

An external push would probably do the trick :o

I imagine hyperflexibility to that extent would make deadlifting a rather injurious practice.
