Can't really see it, apart from slightly in back shot, but most of my BF is around the waist. Doesn't show so much standing up, more noticable when seated. I'd like to get rid of it, but I appreciate it's far too early to start cutting.

Anyway, you can see why I need to do weights. :D

You might not realise it, but youre a lot bigger than last i saw you.

Put on a little bit of podge but youre broader and it shows that youve started training ...good work.

...btw, when did you turn into Charlie Sheen? :D

Looks like you have a naturally broad frame, especially across the Shoulders so you that should help you build up a good shape reasonably quickly.

I agree, you're quite broad and I could see you making some very good progress. Looking great to say you've only been training 6 weeks.

I agree with Alex, being broad will make you look much bigger, quicker.

Good broad base there .

I wouldnt even give body fat a thought mate . Get quality eating, train basic and hard and get enough rest

If I were you, I'd cover up those nips before Rab seems them.

Looks like a very good base to build from. :)

Personal thoughts - some improvement; not meteoric, but I'm patient. I'm thinking start doing shrugs and raises, and more dips.

Mate, you will be surprised how fast the improvements catch up on you. The others are right, you have a good frame to build on and that's half the battle. Keeping a photo log is spot on as well. I'm so pleased I did mine. Keep on with it! ;)

Hows your back coming on? The reason i ask is that the best progress is in shoulders, triceps ad shoulders suggesting your maybe not training pulling exercises as much as you should or you are struggling to get the correct movement/mind muscle connection...a common problem for newbies as you cant see the muscles being worked round the back.

As said, good shape coming on , in particular the chest & shoulders.

I rate you as ESN's 3rd hottest piece of man meat with the goatee and the nipples.

Now you can't ask for a better compliment than that now can you?

Very good progress on the shoulders.

High praise indeed. Who do I have to dead-mans shoes to get to #1? :D

I'll try and get a back shot when I'm not wrapped up in a duvet feeling sorry for myself. DLs and chins are a regular part of my training, and back feels fairly strong, but advice on what to concentrate on are always welcome.

Hrm, it's been a while. I'm not specifically doing bodybuilding, but may as well update.
I still can't pose for toffee (especially for back), and shitty camera phone on the wrong setting doesn't make things any better. I'll borrow a better camera.
Forearms 12 inches
Biceps 14 inches
Thighs 23 inches, about midway. I need to do more squats. :D
BF% nfc. More than before, but not fussed. I'll deal with that later.

We believe you about the lighting. Totally. You not training with Marky boy ATM? Cause you could get him to take some pics. Been a while since I was in your journal...must go have a gander. I wouldn't worry to much about the BF%. I think you need to concentrate on packing on some muscle.

Get squatting. My quads are bigger than yours...(So not boasting or anything lalala)..OK so they're only 1" bigger. Cycling may help too, especially if your calves are on the slim side, no idea if they are. Other than that, you have definitely put on some muscle and are developing a good upper body shape.

Keep hitting dem weights.

I wish I trained with Mark. :D
Keep planning on meeting up for a session, but things conspire against us. Mostly Mark being a pussy or getting injured.

My weight plateau'd somewhat, was stuck at 90kg for about 4 months. Up to 94 kg now though, eating more and squatting may be helping. ;)
