Introductions

Postby simon m on Fri Jan 25, 2008 8:01 pm

Potted history time:

Started weight training when I was 14 years old with my twin brother. We, like many others, over did it and trained every day, sometimes twice a day as Arnold did that.

At 16, I "discovered" Mike Mentzer and then we we HIT mad and did negatives, forced reps etc., on eveything.

At 18 life changed and whilst I still trained it was all basic strength work for rugby and my training was like that until I stopped playing rugby following two serious shoulder injuries.

I then sat on my arse. Two years ago, I started suffering from very bad Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and part of my therapy was to exercise more, hence the return to weights and I can honestly say, I'm loving it!

Interesting Fact: Me and Alex T share a birthday!

I have total respect for anyone ex forces and especially anyone who is able to build a life for themselves once the Army/navy/Air force spits them out .

Its a strange sight seeing children being brought home in wooden boxes from overseas .

Isnt there THREE people who share that Birthday ???????????????
