pineapple juice

Just been told by a mate that pineapple juice helps with digestion... iv had a quick look and couldn't really find much on it. Any one shread some light as im unsure to trust what he says lol

Actual pineapples might due to the active enzymes, pineapple juice almost definitely won't.

Whole pineapple has an enzyme called Bromelain, which is a proven anti inflammatory. It's also great for improving some digestive issues. As far as I remember the enzyme is found mostly in the slightly darker central bit of the pineapple, so if you juice your own by whacking it through a blender you'd definitely get some there. Not sure whether the processing of the prepackaged stuff destroys it or not.

Watercress and banana are supposed to be good for that too.

And zinc and arginine increase the volume... that should give you the ammo to fire tasty bullets of love goo everywhere you go...
