Piccies

Postby GymBunny on Wed Jan 30, 2008 7:04 pm

OK, as requested here's some pics taken around Christmas time, I've got a bit more definition now but seem to be incapable of taking pictures in focus this week.

Weak points definitely triceps and lower back, but the major issue is BF%. Once I'm back in May I will do a proper cut (will be asking for advice).

Not posted any leg pics as my right leg is still noticably smaller and less defined than the left and I am vain :D

Advice? areas for improvement?

You're a girl!!!! Urghhhh!

The best advice I can give is carry on doing what you are doing. You have a lovely shoulder development, good biceps, your triceps would respond well to rope pulldowns 5 sets of 15 should do it, then onto some triceps pushdowns and you'll be laughing.

I can do chin ups, but pull ups seem to be a problem. Been using the assisted pull up thingy at the gym but it hurts my back for some reason.
Gonna get a finger board once I get my own flat and that should help a lot, and actually doing a cut and having less of me to pull up will help too

As BB is an illusion it would help taper the top half and take the shine off your weak point as you say.

percevere if poss, great for overall development.

Great arms too.

Looking good young lady.

May I recommed lots of Bench Dips for your Triceps and a bit more Rear Delt work as this will pin back your shoulders giving more of a taper.

Bench dips are good, however conventional/full dips are even better, since there is considerably more stabilisation involved, if you have sufficient upper body strength to do them, and close-grip presses are also awesome for tricep strength. Two best exercises for tricep power IMO.

Everything looks nicely balanced GymBunny, so just a bit of cutting, bit more cardio, and everything will be great :)

Incidentally Alex, you really should invest in a dipping belt and then you won't have to rely on loading up insane amounts of weight onto your lap for bench dips to get sufficient overload onto your triceps! +100kg bench dip, I'd estimate, is about equivalent to a +40kg unsupported conventional vertical dip using dipping bars.

Indeed. I just have issues with a weakness in my collar bone from rugby with conventional dips.

Could you link where you got yours from?

http://www.ironmind.com does a dipping belt that's absolutely ACE. I'm using one and so is KP, and I believe KP likes to hang small aircrafts from it... It's a really great piece of kit, not flimsy at all.

Sorry I took so long to reply in this thread. However I was just overcome by GB's loveliness and wonderful body :o

Hehe....GB your looking good, some great development and as the guys have said with your small waist you will have a great taper there. Great work :)

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Yeah I will keep hammering the triceps as I want that horseshoe.

Waist is currently 29in but am hoping to get it back down to 27.
Arms currently 12 3/4 inches (and yes that 0.75 is very important) intend to get to 13in with increased definition.

and yes Rogue I am a giant and keep banging me head off the ceiling....or I'm just rubbish at taking pictures.
