Bench dips are good, however conventional/full dips are even better, since there is considerably more stabilisation involved, if you have sufficient upper body strength to do them, and close-grip presses are also awesome for tricep strength. Two best exercises for tricep power IMO.

Incidentally Alex, you really should invest in a dipping belt and then you won't have to rely on loading up insane amounts of weight onto your lap for bench dips to get sufficient overload onto your triceps! +100kg bench dip, I'd estimate, is about equivalent to a +40kg unsupported conventional vertical dip using dipping bars.
