Nice moment

Postby Marks1972 on Wed Feb 20, 2008 5:01 pm

Just went down to the new gym ill be training at once they move to the new one in September (Signed up for a year as it makes good money sense and i can do cardio there without the squat rack beckoning me over) .. walked into the gym reception and the chap said 'ah you must be the powerlifter thats joining up'

.... probably just meant i looked fat enough to be one.. but was nice to be recognised as a serious lifter rather than an average part time gym rat trying to look good for the beach :)

He'll be the local shirtlifter after someone to join him ;)

Why are Chavs like slinkies? They have no real use but it's great to watch one fall down a flight of stairs.

How dare you sir, powerlifting is a legitimate sport that just so happens to be popular with hairdressers, interior decorators and the pet shop boys.
