Wasn't too bad as some places are worse than others but overall wasn't as painfull as I thought.

Those koi tats are well popular,couple of my boxer pals have them. Looked like a good hol mate,nice tat.

LOL. Personally I don't like the upside down fish motive either, though the artwork is superb.

Coi's generally signify the start of change, good luck and fortune which I figured is very appropriate right now. The Coi transforms into a Dragon so all things going well, I'll be adding one of those soon.

Michelle also got a smaller one done after on her hip.

Yeah, it soon warmed up. I'm pretty brown but photo's made me look a bit red.

Positioning wise it worked well for the tat and I'll prob get a water wave cover up next time for the ball and position it else where.

Alex, go for some rocks and water crashing up against it if you're wanting to cover the ball up, you'll need something pretty dark, so it doesn't show up underneath, and shadows in the rocks would look pretty cool, you could even have the Coi jumping out of the water etc to incorporate it a little better.

With the wole pain not being as bad as you thought statement... are you now thinking of places to get one that will hurt a bit more? I bet you start to think in that way if you're not! I certainly am!

I'll probably go up and over the shoulder next on the same side, maybe drop towards my chest a little. Then start maybe on the other arm and some work on my back. I'll try and avoid ribs if I can but who knows later on down the road.
