Wow. I don't think I've ever been called inspiring before, certainly not by someone who squats 3 wheels ATG

They definitely going to hold your bodyweight? Because I can't imagine that attempting a muscle up would be an opportune time for them to snap

Well they won't snap since the rope is rated at 120 kg and each piece of rope will be supporting about 35 kg when I'm on them. Whether my knots will hold out is a different matter, which is why I reinforced them with Araldite :D

I've seen some PT's wrap these around the top of cable crossovers and use for doing elevated Press Ups, Pull Up's, etc.

Looks cool.

How do you find ring dips? I'm not particularly strong but I can knock out ten or so parallel bar dips, a similar number of chins and bench a bit more than my bodyweight. I can't even do a negative ring dip without shaking ridiculously though. I'm guessing this is technique or just getting used to the rings, because I am obviously strong enough to do dips.

shaking will go after continued use. It's just the stabiliser muscles messing up cos the brain hasn't figured out how to efficiently use them yet. Plus a wee bit of strength gain is required.

I think they're great. But haven't used them much recently as I've been focussing on other things so far. I will though for sure. Would use them every week if I could. If I had my own house I'd get them set-up there, then have a play whenever I felt like it.

That's what I suspected. I won't really be doing dips because all the muscles involved will need to recover from the Smolov work at the moment, but I hope to add them. Supine rows also seem like a good thing to do with these rings (I don't have anywhere to put them high enough to do pullups).

Hockey tape is cheap in Canada, and of the 10 or so rolls I bought I only used about half a roll for its intended purpose, and gave away a couple more. It has lots of other applications though.
