Postby upright on Tue Oct 07, 2008 1:34 pm

Got a free baseball cap/scoop with the MPC - cool! but,

How much in weight is a 90cc scoop of BSD Optimise MPC belgian choc?

Don't have any digital scales yet and don't trust he kitchen scales we have. I can work the rest out from there thanks :)

That's a bit hard to say as you can compact a lot into the scoop and it will be very dense and a lot of MPC.

If I plow the scoop through the powder and have it full it's usually around 30g, but sometimes it looks like you have loads and it's only 27g. I keep using a digital scale where I zero it with the scoop on.

:) man wish I could use milk in mine alas the joys of a severe cutting diet.

The funny thing is I'm not hungry at all and I'm suppose to have a shake at 21:00, think I will eat a larger spoonful of peanut butter and that has to do as I just cant "eat" another whole shake today.

Force that sh!t down fella! you'll end up wasting away. I imagine that's quite a few of the calories you should be consuming...

I'll second that ! Jumping mate sounds like ya gotta get your head round drinking all of these shakes, you're on so few cals already, it doesn't sound like you can afford to drop too many

Yeah I know its bad to miss a shake as its like 117 calories+flax seed out of my daily 1290 (1548 on lifting days) I just couldn't drink it I did how ever have a double serving of peanut butter which should have filled the calories part. This is only a one of so as long as I don't make a habit of it I should be ok.

WFT? Those values sound wrong to me. How much do you weight? I think you've calculated it wrong and seriously you DO need to drink those shakes. Add in cinnamon or something if you are having trouble

I think the velocity is high protein and not much else GB, seleced fats here n there... Going by the alloted cals, I'd say at first glance it's a crash diet but I'm assuming it's more than that or else he'd hav had a few people on here telling him it's a waste of time...

No I meant he calculated it incorrectly:

The formula for the Vdiet is
Non Lifting days (10.2 x BW + 879) x 0.5

Lifting Days: (10.2 x BW + 879) x 0.6

Jumping said he's 230lb which gives us

Non-lifitng days : 1612.5cal
Lifting days: 1935

Formula taken from T-Nation the Physique clinic where Gus was put on the V-diet. So yes Jumping has seriously underestimated his calories and it is no wonder he feels crap!
