Man U v Barcelona

Postby kp1512 on Sat May 28, 2011 8:15 am

Anyone watching it?

What an awesome game! Gota be prob the game of the decade?

Hope Barca win! In fact Man U have very little chance - if they can push a draw to half time they MAY be in with extra time I reckon

It'll be a huge antic climax, but I want Man U to win as they're the English side

Noooooooooooo! they are arrogant, rude, dismissive of rules and think there too big !

Barcelona to kick there asses! Too much class in the Barca side!

Messi should teach Ferdinand what a useless player he has now become and needs to retire!

Barca by 2 clear goals, either 2-0 or 3-1.

Yep Id say you are spot on. I would prob say 2-1 with Manu U clawing one back in the 2nd half

tactics seem to be 2 to mark Messi

Messi will destroy that useless twat Ferdinand!

But I'm with SI - I would prefer the English team to win  Man U may be arrogant but so are Barca

Spurs vs Barca final would have been very entertaining.

they made Man U look like a bottom of league club

Amazing skill, class the run rate.

Never will you see that level of passing so close to the opposition

A pleasure to watch Barca play!

they are on a different planet mate

if anyone else saw this - Barca will not be touched for a good 3-5 years. they are the king of Europe for the forseeable

The only team that MAY catch them is Man City with the alleged 4-5 signings in the coming months - but then if the team dont gel - the money wont make a difference - just look at Chelsea

For me, what sets Messi out is just how down to earth he is. No attitude, no ego, doesnt rub it in peoples face, doesnt go swearing at every decision - he just gets on! Can we name anyone like that in the Premiership? Total role model he is and deserves the adulation.

I think Alex F was pretty ok with losing to that side as you saw at the handshake - he knew he was just outclassed. The Mid field let him down and the defence just couldnt understand how to cope with the close range pass and runs.

Man City won't get close to this Barcelona team. The whole ethos that pervades the club isn't something that can just be replicated. Barcelona have taken years to perfect their craft. Then you've got the fact that players like Xavi, Iniesta and Messi don't come around very often.

I wonder if Guardiola will leave after next season. Where do you go from there?!

very true...

You know Guuardiola - when he came in he totally changed the entire working practice of Barca

His number one rule on the pitch - no joke - is apparantly if you lose the ball you HAVE to get it back within 7 SECONDS and then you can rest. His logic is that when you have the paul you can dictate the tempo. He also has lots of other things like this - it really is pretty amazing how collectively its made them unreal in play

I think he MAY go to Arsenal? Its about time Wenger was now binned. His nonsense of "its a young team" has now got boring and fans have lost patience. His has no clue IMHO and lives in his own world.
