Lower back pain when running?

Postby Shicky on Wed Aug 13, 2008 11:58 pm

Anyone else get this? Im usually okay if a thoroughly stretch and 'crack' my lower back before running or most forms of cardio. However Im still getting it a bit lately despite stretching first. Basically my lower back feels very tight and becomes quite sore and stiff, this is despite running on grass today

running? yuck - cardio is a pain in the ass nevermind the back. Bloke like you should have a woman or two on hand if you must exert yourself.

LOL this would probably be my desired cardio method but wouldnt last long enough to count im sure, plus im no man whore. I suspect weak abs could be a problem as i havent trained them in a long time, didnt really realise this could cause this? As when i used to run loads I never had this problem and must have been weaker all over then

Badly fitting running shoes. Go to a running shop that will video and analyse your running style.

Thoughts determine what you want... Actions determine what you get!

Why are Chavs like slinkies? They have no real use but it's great to watch one fall down a flight of stairs.
