Kill x-factor - please read

I'm sure loads of you know about the campaign to beat the X-Factor single, but if you don't read this article: http://www.nme.com/news/rage-against-the-machine/48901" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and down load: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Killing-In-The- ... 232&sr=1-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It will only cost you 29p and will piss off Simon Cowell who is a c-unit

Please do this and let your mates know as well.

Track has to cost at least 40p to count towards the charts. Therefore purchase from play.com or itunes :D

That's wholesale, not retail. Amazon are selling the track at an 11p loss to remind the market that it exists as a download retailer. They've confirmed that it counts towards the charts ;)

I have it on good authority that Simon Cowell wins either way - both are on his label; indirectly ;)

thats why he is where is he - possibly - as he knows how to do this things always to his advantage ;)

Rage Against The Machine = Sony/BMG: X Factor = Sony/BMG

He wins no matter what...based on a bit of research and info on the net.

but X-Factor doesn't win and tbh that's what we can help to do. Simon Cowell is far too rich to even bother trying to cause dents in his money. But his show and the winner we can defeat. I hate that fucking show.

it still does mate - as Cowell already has Xfactor and thus ITV over a barrell if they doint pay more next year.

Cowell's new winner is already on track to be huge in the USA - you reckon he cares what happens here either way? Nope.

I agree except he has already won. They raised 20 mill in advertising on Saturday night alone for ITV.

Besides Susan Boyle has made him a mint already this Christmas ;)

oh mate - she has made him - the figures are immense! dont forget Leona as well she has talent mind you - and will go along way - you have to admire his success and how he has done it; regardless.

I also dont like the show and refuse to watch it - but hey its giving the nation entertainment and from those voting figures they obv like it

Sony BMG is not owed by Cowell at the moment Cowell is trying to negotiate with Sony and used Philip Greene who Sony didn't like so Cowell had to drop Greene.

hmm im not sure about that mate

he is with Sony BMG in a big way and has been since 2004 or 5.

The story goes that the other single is on a label thats a subsidairy of SonyBMG and so they are all laughing anyway but Simon ss astute and will realise that if his geordie kid gets a number one itll be more collateral for his stuff in the States......hence why he prob wants him to be the number one...

thats what I thought anyway

Cowell has a limited show business life time, say 3-5 years so is trying to leverage everything as soon as he's not longer contracted in the USA to Simon Fuller.

He's one clever bloke, but he knows fuck all about music

The only sad thing about this is that people are uniting against the man to oust the X-Factor...more people voted on X Factor than they did for the last general election...fucking tragic.

Cowell did mention the other day that he wants to start an X Factor style political show. As daft as it sounds, it could quite possibly be the best idea he's ever had...

that would be to compete against Sky and its Political Show - but if ITV dont pay XFactor he may sell it to Sky - so that could even be a political ploy by Cowell for Sky? who knows

Excellent news.

Shrewd publicity stunt though?

Don't think so, but certainly a resounding victory for the illusion of free will. It's not exactly Tiananmen Square, but we Brits like to feel we've done our bit ;)

Definitely not a publicity stunt. The guy that started it was on Radio 5 the other day when RATM played live and was completely straight up.

I meant for the X Factor kid as he's gotten far more public exposure than he otherwise would. And they share the same record company...

They do but it wasn't really the point. It was just a campaign for proper music over manufactured tripe.
