OK, I have been cringing at the weird angles and rather unflattering nature of some of the shots from my swim, so here are two to show that I really don't look as bad as that!

Thank you KP I am now yes! I was starting to lose sight of how far I've come and was beginning to feel despondent... so reminding myself of the difference has righted me again. Given me a much needed boost!

Pingu, the progress is even more impressive when seeing the dry pics. Your physique is much smoother and slimer. You're making great progress.

You also look a lot more balanced top and bottom if that makes sense.

Thank you! The balance comment does make sense. My legs were always over dominant of my physique, and now they have slimmed down by losing fat but have gained muscle they are more in balance with the top half of my body...which has done the same thing.

You should be very proud of what you've achieved.

What are your goals now?

My goals are now just to maintain my BF levels, up to 19% maximum. Ideally to keep it around 15%-16%. Of course to maintain/increase LBM if I can, although that is mainly going to come off season because I can only weight train once a week now because of the swim season and other commitments.

My goal for this year is (possibly) a 10.5 mile charity swim at the end of the season (September) but if not just to do all the events I can afford, without injury. Then off season to swap the focus to weight training again, ready for a more concerted swim season next year. I want to to the 2 Way Windermere (21 miles) for charity in 2011, and would like to do the Channel in either 2013 or 2014, again as a charity fund raiser.

And of course....learn learn learn!

Swimsuits should be banned Pingu. Next time you post pics, wear a bikini or something. That would do you much more justice i think.

Hmm...methinks there may be an ulterior motive there! (mind you, I can't talk...I'm all for kilts! )
